Private Equity Fund Accountant

About This Role

This role involves assisting a global financial services firm with fund accounting responsibilities, including financial preparation, month-end close processes, capital activities, audit inquiries, and investor requests.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of the fund financials
• Help with the month, quarter, and year-end close process
• Assist with capital calls, distributions, and reconciliations
• Act as a resource for audit inquiries and assist the fund admin
• Analyze high risk accounts on the balance sheet and income statement to recommend better methods
• Help out with process improvement initiatives with an analytical mindset
• Respond to investor requests and special projects as they arise

Requirements

• 2-5 years of fund accounting OR audit experience (top 10 accounting firm)
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or business from top tier school

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or business
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in fund accounting, audit, finance, or commercial real estate fields
