Join Optum, the largest network of medical groups, as a Primary Care Physician in Torrance, CA, providing physician-led care to patients in a quality-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide physician-led primary care services
- See around 18-20 patients per day on a quality vs. quantity model
- Utilize scheduled weekly administrative time
- Conduct 40-minute new patient visits and 20-minute follow-up visits
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of health care providers
- Work with dedicated support staff to focus on patient care
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathic (D.O.), or M.B.B.S
- Board certification or eligibility in Family or Internal Medicine
- Active, unrestricted medical license in CA or the ability to obtain prior to employment
- Valid DEA license or the ability to obtain prior to employment
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathic (D.O.), or M.B.B.S
- Open to new grads; 1+ years experience in managed care setting preferred
Nice to Have
- 1+ years experience in managed care setting
- Bilingual Spanish
