Join Optum Care Delivery as a Primary Care Physician to manage patient care in an outpatient setting, contributing to a vision of improving healthcare for everyone. This role focuses on providing comprehensive primary care with dedicated support staff.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient care in an outpatient setting
- Conduct consultations, follow-up appointments, and well-checks
- Schedule screenings for patients
- Comfortably see patients of all ages, primarily adults and seniors
- Handle an average daily patient census of 18-20 patients
- Manage an appointment schedule of 40 minutes for new patients and 20 minutes for follow-up patients
Requirements
- BE/BC in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Unrestricted California State Medical License
- Current California DEA certificate
- EMR Proficient
Nice to Have
- Bilingual Spanish speaking
- 1+ year experience working in primary care
