Practice Plus Intern

About This Role

This internship provides hands-on experience in healthcare management, supporting the Arkansas Health Group (AHG)/Practice Plus team with administrative and operational tasks for providers, and contributing to the operational efficiency of a leading healthcare organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, proofread, and edit documents, presentations, and reports
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas and documenting meeting minutes
• Help gather and analyze data related to physician productivity, staffing, and operational performance
• Assist with the creation and maintenance of spreadsheets and reports for administration decision-making
• Support ongoing projects such as onboarding initiatives, compliance audits, or workflow optimization
• Collaborate with the AHG team on initiatives to improve administrative processes and physician support
• Act as a point of contact for various departments and assist with interdepartmental coordination
• Communicate professionally with physicians, administrative leaders, and external stakeholders as needed

Requirements

• Entering Jr. or Sr. year of college; or recent graduate
• 2.5 or above GPA
• Ability to work in-person and on-site in central Arkansas
