Postdoctoral Scholar (Psychology)

About This Role

The Postdoctoral Scholar will join a neuroimaging lab at Florida State University, focusing on understanding age-related cognitive decline. This role involves collecting and analyzing neuroimaging data, interpreting findings for publications, and assisting with grant applications.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the collection of MRI, TMS, and cognitive data in older individuals
• Conduct quality control of neuroimaging data
• Perform statistical analyses on already collected MRI and PET datasets
• Interpret findings and contribute to scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals
• Co-supervise junior researchers
• Assist in the preparation of grant applications

Requirements

• Ph.D. in cognitive neuroscience, biomedical engineering, neuroscience, or related field

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in cognitive neuroscience, biomedical engineering, neuroscience, or related field

Nice to Have

• Advanced research training and experience in Neuroimaging (including MRI and PET)
• Documented experience with TMS
• Experience with computational modelling and data analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in manuscript and/or grant writing
