Join the Brain Tumor Immunotherapy Laboratory to advance novel experimental cellular immunotherapies for cancers like glioblastoma. You will design and produce CAR T cells, lead experiments, and contribute to scientific publications.
Responsibilities
- Design and produce CAR T cells and other immunotherapies
- Lead in vitro and in vivo experiments
- Analyze data
- Play a major role in writing and preparing scientific reports for publication
- Mentor junior lab members
- Participate in training of and collaboration with visiting researchers
Requirements
- PhD or MD
- Prior authorship of peer-reviewed publications
- Ability to work independently and contribute significantly to scientific writing and manuscripts
- Meticulous attention to detail and lab management skills
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
Qualifications
- PhD or MD with focus in immunology, oncology, neurology/neuroscience, cell therapy, molecular biology, or a related discipline
Nice to Have
- Direct experience with CAR T cells
- Direct experience with in vitro immunologic assays
- Direct experience with flow cytometry
- Direct experience with murine tumor models
- Experience with single-cell RNA-sequencing
- Experience with spatial biology/transcriptomics
- Experience with computational/bioinformatic approaches
