Postdoctoral Fellow

About This Role

Lead extensive polymer chemistry, synthesis, and characterization within an interdisciplinary research team at the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology, contributing to grant writing and manuscript publication.

Responsibilities

• Lead extensive polymer synthesis for large scale multi-site translational project
• Perform extensive CMC testing
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (engineering, bioscience, drug delivery)
• Perform/lead grant/project reporting and writing
• Lead manuscript writing and present findings at conferences

Requirements

• PhD or Doctorate degree in Engineering
• Strong experience in polymer synthesis
• Strong experience in chemical and physical characterization of polymeric hydrogels/nanoformulations
• Excellent communication and writing skills

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Doctorate degree in Engineering. Preferred Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
