Maintain a clean and safe store environment by performing various cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash disposal, while also managing cleaning supply inventory and assisting other departments.
Responsibilities
- Maintain clean, safe work environments throughout store
- Pick up and dispose of trash
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment and supplies for floor maintenance
- Clean and stock bathroom supplies
- Perform bathroom cleaning checks
- Maintain inventory on cleaning supplies
- Assist departments when applicable
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sense of urgency and ability to work independently
- Enthusiasm, respect, adaptability, flexibility, and spirit of cooperation
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Production driven with ability to work continuously on repetitive tasks while standing
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging from -20 to 50 degrees
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities during peak holiday seasons
- Willingness to work non-traditional five-day work schedule, including Saturday, Sunday, and some evenings
