Plant Manager

About This Role

Manage the safe, profitable, and efficient operation of an ALPLA production plant. Foster a positive working culture, focusing on sustained profitability and employee development.

Responsibilities

• Ensure overall Plant Safety and OSHA Compliance
• Manage P&L Responsibility, Expense Control, and Group Reporting
• Develop and manage Budgeting and Investment Planning
• Oversee Capacity Planning, Customer Service, and Human Resources functions
• Manage Logistics and Warehouse operations
• Ensure Quality Assurance standards are met
• Maintain existing accounts
• Implement and ensure adherence to Policies and Procedures
• Supervise Machine and Infrastructure Maintenance
• Implement and properly utilize OPEX initiatives
• Recruit new employees (with Hiring Manager and HR)
• Perform disciplinary actions
• Assess training needs of staff and ensure execution of training
• Provide personnel development, training, and knowledge sharing culture
• Perform Annual Performance Evaluation and Goal settings

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business/Engineering or related fields or equivalent education/work experience
• At least 5 years of related experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong and proven team building capabilities
• Basic understanding of corporate finance functions
• Fundamental understanding of plastic manufacturing process
• Technical aptitude
