As a Physical Therapist, you will examine and treat patients with physical impairments using various modalities, aiming to improve mobility, function, and independent self-care within a home-based care setting. You will administer skilled care and educate families as part of a healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Examine and treat patients with physical impairments using physical modalities
- Assist persons who are physically challenged to improve mobility and function
- Assist persons with independent self-care and other skills necessary for functioning in daily living
- Administer skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services
- Teach the family and other members of the health care team
- Perform services in accordance with the physician’s orders and established plan of care
Requirements
- Valid state driver’s license
- Automobile liability insurance
- Dependable transportation kept in good working condition
- Ability to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions
- Currently licensed in the state of employment
