About This Role

As a Physical Therapist, you will examine and treat patients with physical impairments using various modalities, aiming to improve mobility, function, and independent self-care within a home-based care setting. You will administer skilled care and educate families as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients with physical impairments using physical modalities
• Assist persons who are physically challenged to improve mobility and function
• Assist persons with independent self-care and other skills necessary for functioning in daily living
• Administer skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services
• Teach the family and other members of the health care team
• Perform services in accordance with the physician’s orders and established plan of care

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license
• Automobile liability insurance
• Dependable transportation kept in good working condition
• Ability to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions
• Currently licensed in the state of employment
