This role is for a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled care under the supervision of a registered physical therapist in various American Senior Communities settings, including home health, skilled nursing, and outpatient therapies. The PTA will contribute to patient care, treatment plans, and case management.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality patient care under the supervision of a registered physical therapist
- Develop and continue ongoing treatment plans
- Assist with discharge plans
- Contribute to case management
- Maintain a positive level of interaction with patients and center staff
- Adhere to applicable state regulations concerning physical therapy assistant services
