About This Role

This role involves conducting medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist. It requires providing interventions and documenting treatment for patients at Dell Seton Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist
• Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist
• Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population
• Document treatment interventions given
• May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
• Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Asst credentialed from the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
