About This Role

This role involves continuous cardiac surveillance for at-risk patients, identifying critical physiological changes, and communicating real-time cardiac patterns to medical teams. It also requires documenting patient cardiac journeys and maintaining specialized monitoring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous cardiac surveillance for at-risk patients, serving as the first line of defense in identifying critical physiological changes
• Communicate real-time cardiac patterns and rhythm shifts to the nursing and physician teams to ensure immediate, life-saving interventions
• Document the nuances of every patient’s cardiac journey, creating an accurate clinical roadmap that supports high-quality diagnostic decisions
• Maintain a high-functioning monitoring environment by managing specialized equipment and supplies so that care is never delayed by technical gaps

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
