About This Role

This role involves developing and evaluating advanced IBO-style biology problems to challenge and assess frontier AI models. The expert will identify logical flaws in AI-generated solutions and provide rigorous, correctly formatted reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Write original and advanced IBO-style biology problems for frontier AI models
• Evaluate AI-generated solutions for correctness, clarity, and style
• Identify where AI models fail, including logical flaws and incomplete reasoning
• Provide clear, concise, and correct solutions with chain of thought reasoning using LaTeX
• Maintain extremely high standards of precision and problem difficulty

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in biology or related field
• Experience as an Olympiad participant or medalist in the IBO or equivalent competitions
• Proficiency in writing and formatting documents using LaTeX
• Deep understanding of core theoretical and experimental concepts in biology
• Ability to articulate reasoning and derivations clearly in written form
• Strong ability to evaluate the rigor and complexity of biology problems
• Rigorous attention to detail in verifying solutions
