About This Role

Support the pharmacy department by accurately preparing medications for patient dispensing, maintaining records, and ensuring financial accountability. Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate MERIT standards of performance.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately prepare medications for patient dispensing
  • Maintain appropriate records to assure adherence to regulations
  • Ensure accurate financial accountability
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Help maintain an organized and efficient workflow in the pharmacy
  • Consistently demonstrate MERIT standards of performance

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire
  • Active status as a Certified Pharmacy Technician
  • At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience or completion of an Associate’s Degree in Pharmacy Technology

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience or completion of an Associate’s Degree in Pharmacy Technology

Nice to Have

  • Associate's degree in Pharmacy Technology
  • At least 4 years of pharmacy technician experience
