Pharmacy Technician

About This Role

This role will support the pharmacy team by managing workstations, accurately filling prescriptions, and providing caring service to patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks
• Promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions
• Provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations
• Ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met
• Demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain patient confidentiality

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Licensure requirements vary by state
• Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted
• Active customer service orientation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to use math to solve problems (e.g., calculating day's supply)
• Problem resolution skills

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
