Pharmacy Technician

About This Role

This role involves providing compassionate care to patients by managing pharmacy workstations and tasks to promptly, safely, and accurately fill prescriptions. Pharmacy Technicians ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met, demonstrating ethical conduct and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks
• Promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions
• Provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations
• Ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met
• Demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain patient confidentiality
• Complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program
• Satisfy all registration, licensing and certification requirements according to State’s Board of Pharmacy guidelines

Requirements

• Comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws
• At least 16 years of age (if state does not mandate minimum)
• High school diploma or equivalent, or active enrollment (if state does not mandate minimum)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• PTCB National Certification
