Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence
• Assist patients and customers as a first point of contact to deliver an exceptional experience
• Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly, including prompt, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Adhere to all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at each workstation
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off)
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care, escalating problems when necessary
• Complete basic inventory activities like putting away deliveries and cycle counts, as permitted by law
• Contribute to a high-performing team, embrace a growth mindset, and expand clinical and technical knowledge
• Comply with all relevant federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ethical principles
• Deliver additional patient health care services (e.g., immunizations, point-of-care testing) where allowable

Requirements

• Comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
• If state board does not address age, must be at least 16 years of age

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program if not mandated by state

Nice to Have

• 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations
