About This Role

This Pharmacy Technician position supports patient prescription needs by managing pharmacy workstations and delivering compassionate service, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards while contributing to a leading retail pharmacy company.

Responsibilities

• Manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks
• Promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions
• Provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations
• Ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for patients
• Demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain patient confidentiality
• Complete an extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program
• Satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to State's Board of Pharmacy guidelines
• Build clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge and expertise by leveraging available tools and training

Requirements

• Comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
• Be at least 16 years of age if the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program if state board of pharmacy does not mandate a minimum educational requirement
• Entry-level, with training provided

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• PTCB National Certification
