About This Role

Serve as a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health, delivering compassionate care to patients by promptly, safely, and accurately filling prescriptions while upholding high professional and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support prompt, safe, and accurate prescription filling
• Provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations
• Ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for patients
• Demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Complete extensive CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements
• Build clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge and expertise by leveraging available tools and training

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Licensure requirements vary by state
• Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted
• Customer service orientation (actively look for ways to help people)
• Communication skills (use and understand verbal and written communication, active listening)
• Mathematical reasoning (ability to use math to solve problems, e.g., calculating day's supply)
• Problem resolution skills (judge when something is wrong, choose best course of action)

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• PTCB National Certification
