Support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence, ensuring prompt, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment while providing exceptional patient and customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Follow all company SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists manage and improve patient health
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care, creating heartfelt and personalized moments while serving patients
- Complete basic inventory activities, such as accurately putting away medication deliveries and completing cycle counts
- Contribute to a high-performing team, embracing a growth mindset, and being receptive to feedback
- Demonstrate flexibility for both scheduling and business needs, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team dynamic
- Comply with all relevant federal, state, and local laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles
- Deliver additional patient health care services (e.g., immunizations, point-of-care testing), where allowable by law and supported by required training and certification
- Complete additional licensure and training requirements to obtain Technician Immunizer status to support preparing and administering vaccines
- Educate patients about the importance of vaccines and refer patients to the Pharmacist-on-duty for vaccination questions
Requirements
- Comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy
- Must be at least 16 years of age (if not mandated by state board of pharmacy)
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe

- Ability to perform physical demands of the job
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, or actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program (if not mandated by state board)
Nice to Have
- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations
