The Personal Lines Account Executive will manage a personal lines book of business, handling renewals, endorsements, client servicing, and claims support. This role involves working with carrier partners, maintaining product knowledge, supporting marketing, and driving growth through cross-selling and referrals while ensuring high retention and accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
- Handle daily servicing for personal lines clients, including policy changes, endorsements, billing support, and coverage inquiries.
- Process renewals, market accounts to carriers, gather quotes, compare coverage options, and prepare client proposals.
- Support clients with claim reporting, documentation, follow-up, and communication with carriers to ensure timely resolution.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional coverage, round out accounts, and request referrals to support agency growth.
- Maintain strong carrier relationships while managing documentation and system updates in the Agency Management System.
Requirements
- 3+ years of personal lines account management or account executive experience within an insurance agency
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License
- Proficiency with agency management systems (AMS360, Applied Epic, or similar), Microsoft Office, and insurance carrier portals
- Strong understanding of personal lines coverage (home, auto, umbrella, renters, specialty lines) and carrier underwriting guidelines
