Performance Improvement (FP&A) Senior Associate

About This Role

This Senior Associate will join a growing consulting firm to support private equity clients with financial modeling, budgeting, cash flow management, and other FP&A activities. The role focuses on delivering rapid, sustainable, and cost-effective performance improvement for middle-market private equity clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a financial business partner to senior leadership through delivery of key financial and operating needs
• Deliver value to clients through expert financial modeling and analysis
• Develop 13-week cash flows and optimize cash conversion cycles
• Analyze and optimize capital deployment, providing recommendations
• Conduct monthly and annual financial budgeting, forecasting, and management analysis
• Implement financial process improvements, tool development, and management dashboards
• Provide strategic guidance and sound business decision support
• Provide structured program management and leadership to cross-functional teams
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Support the firm with business and practice development activities

Requirements

• 3+ years in financial modeling, advanced forecasting, analytical reasoning, and financial systems
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to deliver results under tight deadlines while managing multiple competing priorities
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in financial modeling, advanced forecasting, analytical reasoning, and financial systems (FP&A, Corporate Finance, Accounting, Investment Banking, Consulting, etc.)
