PeopleSoft Functional Analyst with Security Clearance

About This Role

The PeopleSoft Functional Analyst with a security clearance will be responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and ongoing support of PeopleSoft HCM Payroll. This role ensures accurate and compliant payroll processing by collaborating with HR, Benefits, and Finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain PeopleSoft NA Payroll modules, including pay rules, deductions, base benefits, and tax compliance.
• Ensure the system adheres to federal, state, and local payroll regulations, as well as organizational policies.
• Leverage PeopleSoft WorkCenters to streamline payroll processes and improve user productivity.
• Support quarterly and year-end activities, including tax updates, W-2 processing, and compliance reporting.
• Analyze payroll business processes and recommend system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve payroll system issues, including calculation errors, data discrepancies, and integration challenges.
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement patches, updates, and customizations.
• Provide subject matter expertise (SME) on PeopleSoft Payroll and related modules.
• Deliver training and support to end users to enhance system adoption and proficiency.
• Develop and execute test plans for system upgrades, patches, and new configurations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3-5+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft HCM/Payroll Analyst
• Extensive experience with PeopleSoft Payroll modules (configuration, implementation, support)
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in SQL and PeopleSoft Query for data analysis and reporting
• Experience with PeopleSoft WorkCenters
• Strong communication skills
• Top Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one.

• Bachelor's degree
• 3-5+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft HCM/Payroll Analyst.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Fluid UI for Payroll and WorkCenter enhancements
• Knowledge of Leave Management, Base Benefits, and Time & Attendance integration with Payroll
• Experience in payroll year-end processing (W-2, ACA)
• Familiarity with cloud-hosted PeopleSoft environments
• Exposure to automated testing tools and payroll process automation
• Strong understanding of payroll security, roles, permissions, and audit controls.
