Pediatric Behavior Technician

About This Role

This role is for a Pediatric Behavior Technician dedicated to improving the lives of children with autism by providing one-on-one Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you will teach new skill acquisition and behavior modification to help children reach new milestones.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy services to children with autism
• Encourage, support, and challenge children to reach new milestones through new skill acquisition and behavior modification
• Works 1:1 with a child in performing ABA therapy, following the guidance in the behavior treatment plan and under the direction of a supervising clinician
• Ensure all billing is submitted in a timely fashion and documentation accurately supports services rendered
• Update working availability in the EMR platform and communicate availability changes with Client Advocate
• Communicate regularly with Client Advocate and Supervisor as it relates to assigned client(s)
• Comply with and follow the BACB code of ethics as it relates to service delivery and professionalism
• Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

• 18 years old
• HS Diploma or GED
• Passion for working with children, especially those with neuro-divergent behaviors
• Minimum 1 year working with children
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB
