This role involves scheduling patient appointments and processing communications in a healthcare call center environment, while also providing information about services and managing referrals. The position is part-time, fully remote, and requires the representative to be located in Arizona.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and register patient appointments for various services
- Provide information regarding addresses, directions, phone numbers, hours of operation, and other departments
- Process all phone, fax, email, and other communication channel requests efficiently and accurately
- Assist new members with an introduction to and explanation of available services, processes, and provider availability
- Update patients on the status of their referrals or authorizations
Requirements
- Must be located in Arizona
- 1+ year of scheduling experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience handling high volume calls in a call center, adhering to performance metrics
