About This Role

This role involves scheduling patient appointments and processing communications in a healthcare call center environment, while also providing information about services and managing referrals. The position is part-time, fully remote, and requires the representative to be located in Arizona.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and register patient appointments for various services
  • Provide information regarding addresses, directions, phone numbers, hours of operation, and other departments
  • Process all phone, fax, email, and other communication channel requests efficiently and accurately
  • Assist new members with an introduction to and explanation of available services, processes, and provider availability
  • Update patients on the status of their referrals or authorizations

Requirements

  • Must be located in Arizona
  • 1+ year of scheduling experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience handling high volume calls in a call center, adhering to performance metrics

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of scheduling experience in a healthcare setting
