Patient Care Technician (PCT)

About This Role

This Patient Care Technician (PCT) role involves performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse at PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital. The PCT will operate within defined limits, focusing on patient care without administering medications or therapies, while adhering to hospital policies and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform various patient care activities
• Provide accommodative services to patients
• Operate under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse
• Perform patient care activities within the limits of the position
• Adhere to the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health

Requirements

• Current BLS certification

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
