About This Role

The Patient Care Technician works under the supervision of nursing staff to provide basic care, comfort, hygiene, safety, and environmental cleanliness for adult and geriatric patients. This role involves performing delegated tasks and documenting patient-related activities.

Responsibilities

Perform basic care for adult and geriatric patients' needs
Provide comfort, hygiene, safety, and environmental cleanliness
Complete documentation of patient related tasks
Perform all functions delegated by the nurse staff
Adhere to policies and procedures and scope of practice

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant OR previous training and/or one year experience in a similar role
Current American Heart BLS or Heartsaver AED where approved

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Previous training and/or one year experience in a similar role is highly preferred

Nice to Have

Previous training and/or one year experience in a similar role

Certifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (Required) American Heart BLS (Required) Heartsaver AED (Required)
