Patient Care Technician

About This Role

Provide direct, compassionate care to patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic, performing hands-on tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to support life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
• Record vital signs and patient data
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Requirements

• Accredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalent
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
• Willingness to float between local clinics if needed
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent

Nice to Have

• CNA certification
• MA certification
• CHT certification
• Phlebotomy certification
• Healthcare experience
