Patient Care Technician

About This Role

Support patients in the Home Hemodialysis (HHD) program by assisting with training, maintaining equipment, monitoring vitals, and providing support for individuals managing kidney disease.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient training for home dialysis under RN supervision
• Prepare and maintain dialysis equipment
• Monitor and record patient vitals and treatment responses
• Support follow-up care, supply tracking, and telehealth check-ins
• Provide technical and emotional support throughout HHD training

Requirements

• Comfortable with blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
• Flexible schedule (may include weekends or holidays)
• Willing to train and float across clinics as needed

Qualifications

• Accredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalent
