Provide direct, ongoing patient care as a Patient Care Technician, ensuring safe and hygienic dialysis treatment at skilled nursing facilities. Responsible for comprehensive patient care, monitoring, and machine setup while working autonomously.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, comfortable and hygienic dialysis treatment in a one-on-one patient care setting
- Work in conjunction with dialysis RNs to provide dialysis care
- Monitor patients before, during and after dialysis treatment
- Measure and record patient stats and observations
- Set up hemodialysis machines
- Multitask to meet the needs of the service, patients, and SNF partners
Requirements
- Prior Hemo-Dialysis experience
- Valid Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
