About This Role

This Patient Care Technician (PCT) role provides direct, hands-on care under RN supervision to patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. You will help patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment by monitoring them, setting up equipment, and educating them on kidney health.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
  • Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
  • Record vital signs and patient data
  • Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
  • Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Requirements

  • Accredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalent
  • Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
  • Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
  • Willing to float between local clinics if needed
  • Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

  • Accredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalent

Nice to Have

  • CNA certified
  • MA certified
  • CHT certified
  • Phlebotomy certification
  • Healthcare experience
