As a Patient Care Technician in Rehab, you will be a crucial member of the nursing care team, delivering hands-on care and creating a safe, welcoming environment for patients. This role supports comfort, dignity, and connection for patients, contributing to the mission of improving lives.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth procedures and recovery
- Provide non-medicated care like dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
- Keep patient areas, operating rooms, and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
- Manage supplies, equipment, and environmental logs to keep the team ready and protect patients through infection control
- Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team while promoting safety and quality efforts
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (obtained within 30 days of employment)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- High School Graduate / GED
