This Clinical Nurse Coordinator in the Cath Lab will demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in patient care within the cardiac catheterization lab, ensuring quality outcomes and leading shift operations. They will have a voice in shaping patient care decisions and the future of nursing at the hospital.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge, skills, and understanding of the unique aspects of the population served in patient care
- Perform duties consistent with the scope of practice and within the philosophy of care delivery
- Direct shift operations, including schedules, assignments, and coordination of resources
- Provide safe and appropriate patient care within the Standards of Nursing Practice
- Communicate positively and professionally with all internal and external customers
Requirements
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications through AHA or ARC
- Graduate of a certified School of Nursing
- Minimum of one year as staff nurse in Cath Lab
Qualifications
- Graduate of a certified School of Nursing
- Minimum of one year as staff nurse in Cath Lab; previous charge nurse experience preferred.
