Patient Care Assistant

About This Role

This role provides essential personal care assistance to patients, working under the direct supervision of licensed nursing personnel. The individual will contribute to patient safety and participate in ongoing educational activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care duties as assigned under the direction of licensed nursing personnel
• Assist in the performance of procedures for the patient population served in a manner that is consistent with established policies and procedures
• Provide for patient safety
• Participate in ongoing educational activities
• Complete assigned goals

Requirements

• Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format
• Skill to write legibly and record information accurately
• Computer literacy
