Handle inbound patient calls, triage to nurses, schedule appointments, and manage insurance verification and patient registration for a large cardiology practice.
Responsibilities
- Handle a large number of inbound calls from patients
- Triage calls to RN's when needed
- Schedule and reschedule appointments for patients
- Perform insurance verification
- Complete patient registration
- Process prior authorizations
- Schedule cardiology exams, screenings, and blood work
Requirements
- 2 years of medical administration experience
- Insurance verification experience
- EMR experience
- Excellent communication skills
