Parts Specialist

About This Role

This role involves selling, receiving, and delivering parts and accessories for John Deere equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell products and/or services on and off-site to meet customer needs
• Supply Service Technicians with parts as required
• Assist with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
• Verify receiving of shipments and assist with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations
• Assist in keeping parts department clean and orderly
• Follow up on shortages and expedite issues by reporting to the manager
• Assist in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Basic parts and machinery knowledge
• Basic data entry/keyboarding skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Nice to Have

• Prior sales experience
• John Deere equipment knowledge
• Ability to operate a fork lift
