Part Time Teller

About This Role

As a Teller, you will assist customers with various financial needs, process transactions, and provide exceptional customer service. This role focuses on engaging customers, minimizing wait times, and resolving concerns while adhering to bank policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide an elevated level of exceptional customer service by welcoming customers and minimizing wait times
• Process transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers
• Handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawer balances
• Adhere to all bank policies and procedures, including compliance and risk management protocols to prevent fraudulent situations
• Recognize opportunities and cross-sell bank products to deepen customer relationships
• Engage customers and leverage digital tools to educate them on self-service options
• Assist with custodianship, audits, and other operational tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to create a welcoming environment for customers
• Support nearby branch locations based on business necessity

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
• 6+ Months Cash Handling experience
• 6+ Months Demonstrated customer service experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to identify and escalate concerns of risk
• Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures
• Effective listening and communication skills
• Comfortable in using digital tools and technology
• Computer proficiency and basic math skills
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
• 6+ Months Cash Handling experience; 6+ Months Demonstrated customer service experience

Nice to Have

• Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education
• Experience in Microsoft Office products
