Process financial transactions for members, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily operations, and actively engage in cross-selling Credit Union services.
Responsibilities
- Receive share deposits and loan payments
- Process cash advances, cashiers' checks, money orders, gift cards, and discount tickets
- Disburse cash or check share withdrawals
- Process transfers and verify transactions
- Monitor deposit amounts and examine documents for endorsement and negotiability
- Detect and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Balance daily transactions and verify cash totals
- Investigate and resolve out-of-balance conditions
- Actively cross-sell Credit Union products and services
- Perform drive-up service and night drop functions as assigned
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- At least six months cash handling experience
- Knowledge of Teller operations and procedures
- Basic understanding of Credit Union operations
- Good communication skills
- Good math skills
- Ability to operate related computer applications and other business equipment
