Part-Time Teller

About This Role

Process financial transactions for members, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily operations, and actively engage in cross-selling Credit Union services.

Responsibilities

• Receive share deposits and loan payments
• Process cash advances, cashiers' checks, money orders, gift cards, and discount tickets
• Disburse cash or check share withdrawals
• Process transfers and verify transactions
• Monitor deposit amounts and examine documents for endorsement and negotiability
• Detect and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Balance daily transactions and verify cash totals
• Investigate and resolve out-of-balance conditions
• Actively cross-sell Credit Union products and services
• Perform drive-up service and night drop functions as assigned

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• At least six months cash handling experience
• Knowledge of Teller operations and procedures
• Basic understanding of Credit Union operations
• Good communication skills
• Good math skills
• Ability to operate related computer applications and other business equipment
