The Part Time Teller is responsible for processing financial transactions for customers, promoting bank services, and maintaining accurate records, while delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, and enter into computer records.
- Cash checks and process withdrawals after verifying signatures and customer balances.
- Promote and explain other financial institution services like CDs, safe deposit boxes, and money orders.
- Receive and process mortgage, consumer loan, and other payments.
- Count, check, and package coins and currency.
- Ensure teller stations are properly stocked with forms and supplies.
- Assist with account opening procedures.
- Pin ATM/Debit cards.
- Document and file items into synergy.
- Travel to other branches to assist with staffing if required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Previous cash handling or teller experience preferred, but not required for entry level.
