Part Time Teller

About This Role

The Part Time Teller is responsible for processing financial transactions for customers, promoting bank services, and maintaining accurate records, while delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, and enter into computer records.
• Cash checks and process withdrawals after verifying signatures and customer balances.
• Promote and explain other financial institution services like CDs, safe deposit boxes, and money orders.
• Receive and process mortgage, consumer loan, and other payments.
• Count, check, and package coins and currency.
• Ensure teller stations are properly stocked with forms and supplies.
• Assist with account opening procedures.
• Pin ATM/Debit cards.
• Document and file items into synergy.
• Travel to other branches to assist with staffing if required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Previous cash handling or teller experience preferred, but not required for entry level.
