Part-Time Sales Lead

About This Role

The Sales Lead is responsible for inspiring teammates, driving sales, and ensuring smooth retail operations while providing an exceptional customer experience. This role focuses on achieving sales goals and maintaining high standards for store cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities

• Inspire teammates with integrity and drive, fostering a culture of caring and camaraderie
• Coach selling behaviors behind the Customer Connection to improve team performance
• Take accountability for goals and their impact on Famous Footwear’s overall performance
• Drive sales with purpose and determination to achieve goals
• Manage pricing, inventory, opening, and closing the store, keeping it clean, organized, and easily shoppable
• Adhere to company policies and utilize resources to accomplish tasks
• Champion the Famous culture, embodying behaviors that power customer connection
• Embrace diversity and inclusivity, ensuring every associate feels valued and respected
• Maintain a positive and proactive mindset, uplifting and supporting others
• Make shoe recommendations and ensure customers leave with the perfect fit and "Famous Feeling"

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Proficient working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours
• Basic computer skills

• Some retail store management experience or relevant management experience; previous experience on a team and motivating others.
