Part Time Receiver/Stocker

About This Role

This role involves accurately receiving and stocking freight, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the store is clean and safe for customers. You will unload deliveries, handle equipment and hazardous materials, and assist customers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers
• Accurately receive freight, stock shelves, and organize merchandise and top stock
• Unload deliveries and handle equipment and hazardous materials safely
• Ensure your area is prepped for daily success
• Assist customers, answer questions, and offer support during projects
• Deliver SMART customer service
• Support store operations by verifying deliveries, completing dock prep, and using equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts
• Maintain a safe, clean environment by following proper procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping
• Operate store equipment including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as needed
• Complete other assigned tasks as a team player

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement

Nice to Have

• 3 months experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
• 6 months experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking
