Part-time Faculty Positions in English (Supervising Master Teachers)

About This Role

Kennesaw State University is seeking part-time faculty for the Department of English to supervise master teachers, provide student teaching/clinical supervision, and teach in various formats.

Responsibilities

• Student teaching/clinical supervision of English Education candidates during placements at partnering schools
• Teaching in face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats
• Maintain regular communication with Supervising Master Teacher KSU liaison
• Attend required KSU field experience seminars and other meetings related to field experience supervisor role

Requirements

• Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in English Education or a related field
• OR Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline
• At least 5 years teaching experience
• Employed as a full-time English teacher at a partnering school

Qualifications

• Master's degree in English Education or a related field; OR a Master's degree in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline
• At least 5 years teaching experience and employed as a full-time English teacher at a partnering school
