Part-Time Computer Science Instructor

About This Role

Teach computer science courses to university students, utilizing diverse techniques to foster active learning and support student success. This role involves both introductory and advanced level instruction, student mentorship, and contributing to department and university service.

Responsibilities

• Teach both introductory and advanced level courses, in a face-to-face or online format
• Utilize diverse teaching techniques to foster active learning
• Lead and moderate classroom discussions
• Administer and grade examinations and other coursework
• Advise and mentor students

Requirements

• Master's degree or 18 graduate credit hours in Computer Science
• Two (2) years of collegiate teaching experience
• Strong record of teaching
• Commitment to integrating new technologies in the learning process
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and empower students to succeed

Qualifications

• Master's degree or eighteen (18) graduate credit hours in computer science
• At least two (2) years of applicable teaching experience at the collegiate level

Nice to Have

• Master's degree in Computer Science
