Part-time and Limited Term Faculty Positions in the Department of Elementary & Early Childhood Education

About This Role

Kennesaw State University is seeking part-time and limited term faculty members for the Department of Elementary & Early Childhood Education. These positions involve supervising student teachers and instructing undergraduate and/or graduate courses.

Responsibilities

• Supervise elementary student teachers in local schools during their Yearlong Clinical Experience
• Teach undergraduate courses in elementary or early childhood education
• Teach graduate courses in elementary or early childhood education

Requirements

• Minimum of a Master's degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education or a closely related discipline (for undergraduate teaching/supervision)
• Terminal/Doctorate degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education or a related discipline (for graduate teaching/supervision)

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education or a closely related discipline (for undergraduate teaching/supervision) or a Terminal/Doctorate degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education or a related discipline (for graduate teaching/supervision).
• Three or more years as a lead teacher in a PK-5 classroom in Georgia is preferred. Experience as a teacher mentor, coach, or teaching online/hybrid courses is also preferred.
