Part-time and Limited Term Faculty Positions in Land Surveying

About This Role

Teach undergraduate courses in Land Surveying on a part-time or limited-term basis for Kennesaw State University. Responsibilities include delivering introductory surveying courses in various modalities.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Land Surveying, primarily introductory levels like Surveying I and Surveying I Lab
• Deliver instruction in various modalities including face-to-face, hybrid, and online
• Teach one or two courses per semester based on departmental needs
• Assignments may be at either the Kennesaw or Marietta campus

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or closely related field + Professional Land Surveyor Licensure in Georgia (or neighboring state) + 5+ years experience
• OR Master's or terminal degree in Geospatial Systems Engineering, Geographic Information Sciences, or closely related field
• OR Master's degree in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or a closely related field, OR a Master's or terminal degree in Geospatial Systems Engineering, Geographic Information Sciences, OR a Master's degree in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline.
• 5+ years of experience for part-time faculty with a Bachelor's degree

Nice to Have

• Record of past teaching at the undergraduate level
• Experience teaching on-line or hybrid courses
• Experience with ESRI GIS and other Land Surveying-based software products
• Experience with AutoCAD
