Part-time and Limited Term Faculty Positions in Geography

About This Role

Kennesaw State University is seeking part-time and limited term faculty to teach undergraduate general education courses in Geography on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis. Positions are available on both the Kennesaw and Marietta campuses, potentially in various modalities.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate general education courses in physical and human geography, including Introduction to Landforms; Weather and Climate; Resources, Society and the Environment; and Introduction to Human Geography.
• Assignments will be based on departmental needs, typically for one or two courses per semester.
• Deliver courses in various modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, and online) at either the Kennesaw or Marietta campus.

Requirements

• Master's or terminal degree in Geography or a closely related field, OR a Master's degree in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline.
