Part-time and Limited Term Faculty Positions in Chemistry and Biochemistry

About This Role

Kennesaw State University is seeking part-time and limited term faculty members for the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. These roles involve teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses and contributing to a student-focused learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Chemistry and Biochemistry, primarily laboratories
• Teach graduate courses in Chemistry and Biochemistry
• Ensure teaching assignments align with earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines

Requirements

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Chemistry or Biochemistry or a closely related discipline at time of hire (for undergraduate courses)
• OR Master's degree or foreign equivalent in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in Chemistry or Biochemistry (for undergraduate courses)
• Terminal/Doctorate degree or foreign equivalent in Chemistry, Biochemistry or a related discipline at time of hire (for graduate courses)

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry (for undergraduate) OR Doctorate degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry (for graduate)

Nice to Have

• Record of past teaching experiences as instructor of record at the collegiate level
• Experience teaching on-line or hybrid courses
