Kennesaw State University is seeking part-time and limited term faculty to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Computer Game Design and Development for the academic year 2025-2026. These positions are offered on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis within the Department of Software Engineering and Game Development.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in Computer Game Design and Development
- Teach graduate courses in Computer Game Design and Development
Requirements
- Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Game Development, Software Engineering, Computer Science or closely related discipline (for undergraduate teaching)
- OR Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline (for undergraduate teaching)
- Terminal/Doctorate degree, or foreign equivalent, in Game Development, Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline (for graduate teaching)
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Game Development, Software Engineering, Computer Science or closely related for undergraduate courses; Terminal/Doctorate degree in Game Development, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related for graduate courses.
Nice to Have
- Minimum of one year of teaching experience as a full or part-time instructor
- Experience teaching on-line or hybrid courses
- Record of past teaching at a graduate or an undergraduate level
