This role involves sorting pallets by manufacturer, quality, and grade through visual inspection while meeting production goals and maintaining high safety standards. The Pallet Sorter is a key member of the warehouse team, ensuring smooth and safe operations.
Responsibilities
- Sort pallets by manufacturer, quality, and grade through visual inspection
- Identify and assess repair needs using established criteria
- Meet production goals while maintaining high standards of quality
- Follow safety protocols to help achieve Plan To Zero (PTZ) goals
- Support team by performing other duties as assigned by site leadership
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace ("Clean as You Go")
Requirements
- Familiarity with pallet jacks
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred
- Experience in a production-based warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred
Nice to Have
- Forklift experience
